Kim was recruited by Consolidated at the age of 15 to be their summer student.

After finishing school Kim gained the experience in the company ranks before taking a leave to become a stay at home Mother.

After returning to the Industry as a licensed Insurance Broker Kim has become very involved with the Insurance Brokers Toronto Region, and was the President from 2007 to 2009.
